Altered Book: Telephone Directory Cover
Time has come to decorate the cover of my altered telephone directory journal. After gathering up a few supplies:
And re-using some of my own creative elements, including a Girl in Blue printed on tracing paper, it was time to play. By laying the tracing paper girl over the map of London, it was possible to include both elements despite the limited size of the cover (8.25 x 6.75 inches, 20.955 x 17.145cm).
Then it was time to put on today’s audiobook, High-Rise by J. G. Ballard as read by Tom Hiddleston, and get started.
Close-up of the map of London through the tracing paper print.
A shot from the tiny studio video shoot.
The finished cover.
