Faber-Castell Gelatos Series 1: Colour and Texture on Untreated Canvas

There is nothing quite like cracking open a new art supply kit to explore the possibilities offered therein. Today, I tore open both the Faber-Castell DesignMemoryCraft Designing with Gelatos kit and the Faber-Castell DesignMemoryCraft Mixed Media with Gelatos kit and got to work. 

With the addition of a little Liquitex Basics Course Texture Gel Medium, and with storytelling via Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman (read by Martin Jarvis).  I was able to take a piece of untreated linen from plain beige to:
