The Video:
In this video tutorial I demonstrate how to use a photo transfer, Dylusions Spray Ink, DecoArt Media Misters, and a stencil to create an art journal page.
Sourcing
UK Sources:
Dylusions Spray Ink: Oyster Paper Crafts at www.oysterstamps.co.uk
Though I have spent most of my time living in Bloomsbury, I prefer the expanded selection at the Hampstead location (Heath Street) of Cass Art. All of the following can be found there:
- Liquitex Acrylic Mediums (Gloss Gel Medium, Matte Medium, and Modeling Paste)
- Liquitex Freestyle Brushes
- Canson Artist Series Papers
- Princeton Catalyst products
Possible source for Ranger Products (other than Amazon.co.uk) and stencils: Blade Rubber Stamps, 12 Bury Place, London, WC1A 2JL (0845 873 7005).
Helix and other letter stencils: London Graphic Centre. There are several locations, but the location with the best overall selection is: London Graphic Centre Covent Garden Flagship Store, 16-18 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JL (020 7759 4500).
Of course, The British Museum is open daily and free to the public. Non-flash photography of displays is allowed in most of the rooms.
- Photo Transfer: The photograph used in this video is from my personal library of images from The British Museum and features the Parthenon Sculptures. A video from The British Museum about the sculptures can be found here.
